Some people were — and continue to be — pretty upset about this ad. I think those people sound paranoid and crazy. I like Ross Douthat’s take on the whole thing; it’s a shame that Absolut had to apologize for a great ad like this.
Although I do sometimes wish Dora the Explorer would stop making my kid sing in Spanish so much. Just saying.
